After carefully following the market, we concluded that it would take anywhere from nine to twelve months to sell our home in a less than favorable Vail, Arizona market.  We screened a number of prospective agents, but terminated the process after interviewing Phyllis Daugherty. We quickly concluded she was clearly the best fit.  Phyllis showed up prepared and laid out a comprehensive marketing strategy for our home. She helped price the home correctly and offered constructive suggestions to prepare the residence for sale.  Through the process she was responsive to our questions and creative in bringing the residence to attention of the buying public.  For example, we were told by other agents that open houses were a waste of time and rarely produced qualified, interested buyers.  While acknowledging some of these criticisms, Phyllis organized an open house.  She contacted other agents in the area to put together an open house event for the community which involved more than a half a dozen homes.  She prepared maps and promoted the event which produced seven or eight visitors; two of whom proved to be serious prospects.  While they did not ultimately purchase the home, we are pleased to say her efforts were instrumental in the sale of our home in approximately two months, with an offer close to our asking price.  If you are interested in getting your home sold, we would strongly recommend you consider Phyllis for the job.  You will not be disappointed.
